So this past Tuesday, Ceara, Evan, and I went to a National’s
game. The first mistake we made was not using stub hub. We took the metro to
navy yard. The metro was 10 times worse than the traffic during rush hour. You
could not move anywhere. That is mistake number 2, we should have shown up
earlier. Once we got outside the metro and followed the huge mass of humans we
came upon the ball park. It is beautiful, there are also some cool bars if you’re
of age. We got in line to buy tickets. 10 mins later we got up to the cashier,
the cheapest seat tickets were 90 dollars. We had to buy the 15 dollar standing
seat. On stub hub the same tickets were worth 5 dollars. After searching and
hustling we found a good location to watch the game. After the 6th inning
our feet began to hurt and are tummies were growling. We decided to leave the
game even though there was supposed to be fireworks. It turns out the game got
rain delayed and was called off. All in all going to the baseball game was a
cool experience, but make sure go to stub hub and show up early.
