National Air and Space Museum

The National Air and Space Museum keeps the largest collection of air and space crafts in the world. The National Air and Space Museum has over 10 different themes. The fascinating objects are the Apollo 11 command module columbia and a Lunar rock sample for me. The National Air and Space Museum shows the universe including the earth, moon in various ways and explain history of space crafts and war in the air and development of spacecrafts, military vehicles, measuring instuments, missile and space probes.

MILESTONE OF FLIGHT

MERCURY "FRIENDSHIP 7"

John H. Glenn Jr. became the first American to orbit the earth with Mercury Friendship 7. John H. Glenn circled the earth three times on February 20, 1962. It lasted 4 hours and 55 minutes and landed in the Atlantic Ocean. It was pleasure to see a great achievment of John H. Glenn Jr.
