The Sewall-Belmont House & Museum

The Sewall-Belmont House & Museum has the collection of suffrage, history of the National Woman's party and equal rights artworks. It is the offical organ of the National woman's party. The National woman's party was founded by Alice Paul who was Equal Rights Amendment Author. The Object of the woman's party is to secure for women complete equality with men under the law and in human relationships. The Lucretia Mott Amenment is the most important thing for the National woman's party. "Men and women shall have Equal Rights throughout the United States and every place subject to its jurisdiction." Not only Alice Paul but also members of the National woman's party dedicated their lives to fight for women's equal rights. After I visit the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum, I believe that current women's rights are the fruits of thier steady efforts.
